Life itself is a journey after all, and what matters most is not what you are getting, but who you are becoming.

I’m finally on holiday.
And what’s nice about it is the fact that I’m home to spend Christmas and New Year with my family. It’s seemed surreal to be here after being away for more than two years. Our house has been renovated and it’s giving me a wonderful sense of awe.
It’s just so good to be home. And have time to make another post after leaving my blog dormant for a wee while.
Here are some of the pre-nuptial photos I’ve done recently in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Yes, it’s for Tuia and Tess who are getting married real soon.
There are times when what we thought as a selfless act we do for other people become something that teaches us the real lessons in life. By going out of our comfort zone, we realize how blessed we are and how much we have. By listening to the stories of others, we are able to celebrate life and the wonderful connections we have with one another. By looking at the lives of others, we learn that we all struggle yet those who kept the faith and the right attitude are the ones who reach the mountaintops. By offering whatever we have, we witness that the very thing we give away comes back as a gift that brings freedom and awesome sense of purpose in our lives. And funnily enough, we gain more than what we have sacrificed.
