About

My name is Kris and I am a creative soul. I believe that part of my purpose of existence is creating loving connections and touching people’s lives through art. When I was a kid, I used to call myself a terrible artist especially when I attempted to draw my mom’s graduation photo and came up with a strange human figure I couldn’t even recognize. However, my intense passion for art and creativity fueled me to keep on believing in myself and to the one who gave me this gift to create beautiful things.

This blog is an act of embracing my own vulnerability as an artist. It testifies my courage to be seen whilst working to free myself from worries of rejection and failure. It is my way of giving that terrible artist in me a chance to grow and be the kind of artist I wanted to be. My faith as a Christian has great influence on my creative journey and has allowed me to find that sense of meaning and purpose in everything that I do.

If you love photography, paintings, creativity, and finding inspiration and wisdom from ordinary things, then this blog is for you.

  1. I like conversations, especially quiet ones while waiting for the moon rise and for the moon set, and gazing at stars in between… photographs and paintings are good subjects for therapeutic communication…You are an ICU nurse, very impressive how you help heal and ease pain… God speed and God bless.

    • When I was still in college we used to watch the moon and gaze at the shooting stars while making a wish. And I remember the conversations we had with my friends were really coming from the heart and we get to tell our stories we don’t normally share to many. Maiet, thanks for coming by. God bless you too.

    • Hi Vicki, thank you once again for following and appreciating my blog. Your comments really encouraged me a lot to keep on doing this. The greatest inspiration I receive is that from the Lord who gave me this gift. It gives me a reason to show up and present whatever I come up knowing that by doing it I have fulfilled my purpose and I have done something to multiply the talent he entrusted to me. It’s a joy knowing that we have few things in common – faith and the love of photography. God bless you – exceedingly, abundantly.
