034/101 | Faith and Logic

This photo made me think that plants grow as if they are worshipping the one who made them. I’m one with those plants. Tonight is one of those special times when God touched my heart so profoundly that I couldn’t help but share to you the joy that I have experienced. I am not celebrating any achievement nor rejoicing because of worldly wealth. I am simply filled with the joy of my salvation that God has given to me through his son Jesus Christ.

The other night I had this rare opportunity to have conversation with my colleague who professed that she recognizes the existence of God.  She asked me what I believe. So I told her that I believed in the Jesus Christ who died for our sins and thus brought salvation in our lives; that Jesus Christ came in flesh and is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

She told me it doesn’t make sense. She believed in something else.

I understand what she meant.

Somehow, I was like her before. I attempted to study the doctrines of so many religions. I knew there’s God but I couldn’t find real connection with Him. Things didn’t make sense.

However, when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior, everything made sense to me. Human knowledge is not enough to understand the gospel. We need a repentant heart that surrenders and possesses the willingness to receive the wisdom from God.

I have met a lot of people who question my faith and look at me as though I am delusional. I’m not bothered though. I knew exactly what I believe in.

My faith in God does not come from logical reasoning.

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ because I have experienced Him in countless ways.

And I just knew it deep into my mind, heart and soul that He is real.

Jesus is the Lamb of God. Worthy is His name!

  1. truly, God’s wisdom is so vast that no human wisdom can measure it.. 1 Corintians 1:25 says ” For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.”

    • Amen. Did you watch the video? The song is awesome. I could really feel the intense emotion and praise whilst they were singing it. And I listened to it over and over again.
