003/101 | Cup of Solitude

By all means use sometimes to be alone. Salute thyself; see what thy soul doth wear. ~George Herbert

I’ve been busy during the past few weeks and I can feel such subtle exhaustion that convinced me that I really need some rest – and quiet time. It’s been a while since the last time I sat on one of those comfy chairs in a coffee shop and enjoyed just being alone. Those moments of solitude give me the opportunity to pull myself together, stimulate my mind, engage in deep thinking, comprehend the complexities of life, and take pleasure in the sense of serenity I find in the midst of a chaotic and hectic world.

While sipping this creamy hot chocolate at Gloria Jean’s, I realized I miss myself.
